"Sculpted on the type of land where golf began" says 1995 Golf World course architect of the year, Rees Jones, who designed the Currituck Club.

Jones produced a breathtaking layout that stretches across 6,885 yards of diverse coastal terrain, including towering sand dunes, wetlands, maritime forests, and soundside shoreline. Distinctive, well defined holes complemented by contoured bent grass greens assures a challenging golf experience. Endless subtleties combine with the ever-changing wind on the Outer Banks to produce a new playing experience with every round.

The spectacular Currituck Club is a must play course located on the Northern Outer Banks in Corolla.

This new Kilmarlic Golf Club is a championship 18-hole course offering four sets of tees ranging from 4800 to 6500 yards and features five skill testing par 3's and five risk-reward par 5's with a par of 72. Classically designed by course architect Tom Steele, the primary landing areas on the fairways are generous, leading to gently sloping greens surrounded by contoured approach areas and deep green side bunkers. Fifteen acres of coastal ponds and lakes create breathtaking hazards adjacent to many of the fairways and greens. This unique natural setting creates stimulating challenges, and makes Kilmarlic unlike any other course on the Outer Banks.

It offers an excellent challenge for golfers of all abilities and its tree-lined fairways offer a golf experience like no other on the Outer Banks.

Keeping with the true Scottish links tradition, world class architect Bob Moore blended the Outer Banks natural windswept environment into a shot maker's paradise at Nags Head Golf Links. Coastal winds add to the challenge, prompting Golf Digest to call the Links "the longest 6,126 yards you'll ever play," when featured in 1991. Golf Digest went on to say the holes along the Roanoke Sound are "among the most beautiful in the Eastern U.S."

The long hitter may find little advantage. In true Scottish tradition, most tees and greens are separated by rolling dunes and wild seagrass. Nags Head Golf Links is a favorite among Outer Banks visitors and residents alike.
